眾議員 Josh Gottheimer(新澤西州民主黨)領導了這封信。

WASHINGTON – As Defense Minister Benny Gantz is leaving for a 24-hour visit in Washington to discuss the recent ceasefire with Gaza and other regional issues, a bipartisan group of 55 members of Congress sent a letter to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, urging him to provide Israel with emergency funding to replenish the Iron Dome. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-New Jersey) led the letter. Israel will reportedly seek an additional billion dollars in emergency military aid.
“As Members of Congress who are deeply committed to Israel’s security, we write to express our strong support for the Biden Administration’s ironclad commitment to Israel’s safety and security, including replenishing Israel’s stock of interceptors for the Iron Dome missile defense system and other important matters,” they wrote. “We ask that you continue urgently engaging with Israel on this request, and that you please report to Congress regarding Israel’s needs as soon as possible.”
“Even though the attacks from Gaza have halted, we remain clear eyed about the threats Israel continues to face, not only from Gaza, but also along its northern border,” they added. “We must ensure that the Iron Dome remains able to protect Israel without running the risk that its stockpile of interceptors becomes depleted. Israel must always have the resources it needs to defend itself from incoming rockets when it is targeted again.”
“If Israel requests additional assistance, as contemplated in the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), please work closely with Congress to expeditiously fulfill this request,” the lawmakers added. “To help facilitate this process, we look forward to receiving a reply from you outlining your assessment of the need for Iron Dome replenishment and your engagement with our ally Israel on this matter. Please know that Congress stands with the administration in its commitment to ensuring Israel’s security and capability to defend itself from any attack.”
Meanwhile, a group of 17 Senate Democrats sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, urging him “to immediately take steps to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.”
Among the Senators who signed the letter were: Chris Van Hollen (D-Maryland), Tim Kaine (D-Virginia), Chris Murphy (D-Connecticut), Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon), Bernie Sanders and (I-Vermont) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts).
“As you well know, there was a humanitarian crisis in Gaza before the fighting began, and these recent hostilities have significantly aggravated the dire humanitarian emergency on the ground,” they wrote.
“In order for this ceasefire to be durable and avoid a renewal of the cycle of violence, it is critical that we improve the dire conditions in Gaza that only contribute to despair and further fuel extremism,” they continued. “We strongly urge you to step up the United States’ diplomatic engagement to lead the international community and meet this moment.”
They called on Blinken to “press all sides to allow for unfettered emergency relief distribution, emergency repairs to essential infrastructure, and for families to receive food and water, access to medical care, and attend to other emergency needs,” and to “ensure the opening of the Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings, so that critical humanitarian personnel, including trauma coordinators and security advisers, can enter and that emergency relief items, including fuel and building materials, can be brought in to address the growing needs of the civilian population.”
They also urged Blinken to “robustly fund humanitarian efforts, including fully funding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency,” and to “restore the US diplomatic presence on the ground.”

A group of Syrians filed a legal action against the Qatari regime last week in London for allegedly sending hundreds of millions of dollars to the international-designated terrorist group al-Nusra Dront in Syria.
The Times front-paged the story on the alleged Qatar state-sponsorship of the al-Qaeda affiliate, al-Nusra Front.
According to the paper, “a private office of the Gulf state’s monarch was at the heart of clandestine routes by which money was transferred to… the Nusra Front.” The London-based paper said “Two Qatari banks, several charities, wealthy businessmen, leading politicians and civil servants are among the defendants in a claim for damages lodged by nine Syrians.”
The nine Syrians claimed in the High Court in London, according to the Times, that “each played a part in an alleged conspiracy on behalf of the Qatari state, acting in co-ordination with the Muslim Brotherhood, the Sunni Islamist organization.”
Qatar, whose monarchy was accused by Germany’s Development Minister Gerd Mueller of financing the terrorist movement the Islamic State in 2014, is slated to host the soccer World Cup in 2022.
According to the legal action filed by the Syrians, the pro-al-Nusra Front plot was activated by “by high-ranking members of the Qatari ruling elite” who issued money to “actively support and facilitate” to al-Nusra Front terrorists in Syria.
The Times wrote that Qatari individuals and organizations acting “on behalf of the state of Qatar” provided al-Nusra Front with hundreds of millions of dollars.
The Jerusalem Post reported last year that the US sent a team to probe Qatar’s regime for its reported financing of the US and EU-classified terrorist movement Hezbollah.
The US, UK and the United Nations Security Council have designated the al-Nusra Front a terrorist organization.
The Times reported that “among named defendants accused of involvement are Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani, Qatar’s former prime minister, and Abdulhadi Mana al-Hajri, the owner of London’s Ritz hotel. Their representatives said the allegations were completely baseless. Categorical denials were issued by every Qatari defendant identified in the claim that was contacted by The Times.”
According to the legal action, the Time said the "money was laundered for terrorism via significantly overpriced construction contracts, the purchase of property at inflated prices and overpayments to Syrian migrant workers. The claim alleges the clandestine funding operation was carried out with the Muslim Brotherhood and included meetings in Turkey between prominent Qatari individuals and representatives of jihadist groups operating in Syria."
The newspaper reported that" money was transferred from the bank accounts of Qatari companies and charities either to Syria directly or to Turkish banks, where the claimants say it was withdrawn and taken across the border into Syria."
The Syrians said they took heavy financial losses or were victims of "torture, arbitrary detention, threats of execution and other forms of persecution committed by Nusra Front," wrote the paper.
The Times reported "Central to the operation, it is alleged, was the private engineering office of the Amiri Diwan, a Qatari government agency that controls all major construction and development contracts. It receives its directives from Qatar’s emir, Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani."
The Syrians alleged that Qatar's financial system was embroiled in the financing of al-Nusra Front, including the Qatar National Bank (QNB), and the Doha Bank. The QNB is the bank for the World Cup.
The Times wrote "The new claim alleges that QNB and Doha Bank knew or ought to have known that they were being used to transfer funds to terrorists. If they were unaware of this, it is alleged that they acted unlawfully by failing to monitor their accounts. Doha Bank told The Times the allegations were untrue, as did the Khayyat brothers. QNB said the claims had no factual basis and were categorically untrue."
Shin Bet

Shin Bet
Shin Bet chief: Incitement against Israel's new gov’t could end in bloodshed
Usually, Argaman would give such warnings privately to the political echelon who would decide how to notify the public.

Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) Director Nadav Argaman issued a rare public warning on Saturday sounding alarm bells that the current atmosphere of incitement could lead to tragic bloodshed in Israel.
The statement was a rare public warning by Argaman, who traditionally gives such warnings privately to politicians who would then decide if and how to notify the public.
Argaman reportedly decided to make the statement on his own, not trusting that his warning would reach the public given that elements of the ruling Likud coalition – which might leave office in the coming week – are said to be behind some of the incitement.
The rise in violent rhetoric led the Shin Bet to begin providing security for Yamina leader Naftali Bennett, who will serve as prime minister for the first two years of the incoming coalition assuming it receives the necessary approval from the Knesset. Fellow party member Ayelet Shaked is also receiving security from the Knesset.
“We have recently seen that the discourse of violence and incitement has spiked and become more extreme, especially on social media,” Argaman said. “As the head of the organization charged with guaranteeing the continuation of democratic rule and institutions, I call out and warn that this rhetoric could be interpreted by certain groups or individuals as one that endorses violent and illegal activities which could even lead to harm to individuals.”
The Shin Bet director said politicians and public influencers from across the spectrum, as well as religious leaders and educators, must condemn the language of incitement and violence.
“It is our duty to issue a clear and unqualified demand for an immediate end to the violent and inciteful rhetoric,” he continued. “The responsibility for restoring a calmer atmosphere and more restrained discourse rests on all our shoulders.”
Over the last week, there has been a spike of threats on social media against Bennett, Shaked, Meretz MK Tamar Zandberg and the children of New Hope leader Gideon Sa’ar.
The threats have not been limited to social media. In some instances, people burned effigies of the politicians or issued false pictures announcing that one of the MKs had already passed away.
On Thursday morning, Bennett’s protection detail was increased to reflect his status as prime minister-designate.
Former Shin Bet chief Carmi Gilon reportedly gave private warnings to then opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu in the period leading up to the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in 1995.
Netanyahu then refrained from certain kinds of activities and associations, but did not condemn some of the extreme rhetoric at the time used by others against Rabin.
Netanyahu’s son, Yair, attacked Argaman, accusing the Shin Bet chief of trying to stop criticism of the Left, but not acting as strongly to protect the Netanyahu family on the Right.
The Knesset Foreign Affairs Committee announced it would hold an emergency hearing on the issue on Monday.

Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin has confirmed that he will announce on Monday to the plenum that Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid has managed to form a coalition, a technical step that must be met before the Knesset can approve the new government.
Levin’s announcement on Friday afternoon came after concerns were raised that he may try to delay the move.
Earlier Friday, Levin told Lapid to submit all the agreements he has signed with the parties that will be partners in his coalition. The agreements were reached by Wednesday, but they have not yet been finalized.
“It cannot be that coalition agreements will be hidden from the Knesset and the public,” Levin said.
Yesh Atid and Yamina issued a joint statement saying that the coalition agreements will be submitted and will be transparent. They called on Levin to convene the Knesset plenum and “enable the formation of a functioning unity government that will extricate us from the chaos.”
Yamina leader Naftali Bennett convened his faction at his home in Ra’anana on Friday and after the meeting, MK Abir Kara told reporters that no other defectors would follow in the footsteps of MK Amichai Chikli, who walked out of the party in early May.
“If we are united, it means the process will run smoothly,” Bennett told the faction. “I do not apologize for this step, and I will stand at the forefront and explain it.”
Bennett will convene his faction again on Sunday and MK Nir Orbach is expected to announce at the meeting whether he will vote for the new government or quit the Knesset and be replaced by the next candidate on the Yamina list, deaf activist Shirley Pinto, who is known to back the new coalition.
Sources close to Bennett who spoke to Orbach on Friday expressed confidence that he will not vote against the government and prevent a majority from being reached to enable its formation. MK Idit Silman, who was also considering voting against the new government, said she will vote in line with her party.
“I will be voting in favor of a unity government, and that is final,” she told Ynet.
On Friday afternoon, Joint List leader Ayman Odeh said that his party would not support the Bennett-Lapid coalition if it required more votes through potential last-minute defectors.
“If the Bennett-Lapid government needs my vote to save itself from failure at the last minute, unequivocally, it will not get my vote,” Odeh said in an interview with Arabic news channel Hala TV.

Bennett is just following Netanyahu in 'abandoning' the Right
Within that archetypal dichotomy, Netanyahu has a right-wing government almost in his grasp, if only Bennett and Sa'ar would agree to sit in his government.

In his apparent final days in office, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fallen back on his tactic of fear mongering in a last-minute bid to retain power.
Just before the start of Shabbat, Netanyahu took a swipe at right-wing party heads Naftali Bennett of Yamina and Gideon Sa’ar of New Hope.
“In the coming week’s affair we will read about the spies affair - public representatives in the nation Israel who took out the livelihood of the land and weakened the spirit of the people just out of concern for their personal position,” Netanyahu wrote. ““Also in our generation, in our time, we must stand up [to] those who were elected by the right-wing voices and do the right thing: to create a strong and good right-wing government that will protect the land of Israel, the citizens of Israel and the state.”
Netanyahu’s words are part of a series of attacks by himself or others against Bennett and Sa’ar, in which their forming a governing coalition with left-wing parties and the Arab Islamist party Ra’am has been called “dangerous” to the state and even to the global right-wing movement.
It’s the latest in a prolonged drama in which Netanyahu attempts to label the leadership battle between himself and his opponents as between Right and Left, as if this was a simplistic black and white situation.
Within that archetypal dichotomy, Netanyahu has a right-wing government almost in his grasp, if only Bennett and Sa’ar would agree to sit in his government.
On paper he is correct. With those two parties in tow he would have a stable right-wing government. But could it advance a right-wing agenda? The answer is, it could not.
One needs only look backward at one of the key yardsticks for the Right – issues relating to Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank – to know why this is so.
Here is what did not happen while Netanyahu has been prime minister for 12 years:
• The E-1 construction project by Ma’aleh Adumim has not been given final authorization.
• The advancement and approval rate of new settler construction projects has been high, but actual building was fairly consistent with past trends, and as a result the rate of settlement growth dropped.
• Settler outposts have not been authorized en mass, and even a declaration of intent to authorize them never came before the government.
• Save for one isolated case, new settlements were not built from scratch.
• Most significantly, the promised application of sovereignty over all the West Bank settlements never materialized.
True, Netanyahu did not always have a complete right-wing government, but he had enough support enough of the time to have accomplished the entire list, including annexation.
That he didn’t speaks to the limits of what a right-wing government can do when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Time has shown that for a right-wing government to be effective, it must also have the support of a US president, and even then, such activity has limits.
With former US president Donald Trump at the helm, the United States under Netanyahu’s watch relocated the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Trump also recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
But Trump has now been replaced by President Joe Biden, who has spoken against settlement activity, and who is unlikely to allow a right-wing agenda to move forward when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
At best, a right-wing government could play defensive ball. When Trump was in office, a right-wing government had meaning. With Biden, the situation is likely to be in a deep freeze thereby opening the door for Bennett to join a broad based coalition led by himself and Yesh Atid party head Yair Lapid.
As proof, one need only look at the warning put out last week by the Yesha Council on a freeze on the advancement and authorization of new settle homes by Netanyahu.
Simultaneously, Binyamin Regional Council head Israel Gantz spoke of his support for Netanyahu, and urged Bennett and Sa’ar to support him least they set the cause of the settlements back years.
But once one understand the importance of a US president to settlement policy and looks at the credential of the three men on paper, Bennett and Sa’ar have much more of a right-wing standing than Netanyahu.
Neither men support a Palestinian state, while Netanyahu agreed twice – once under president Barack Obama and again under Trump –to a two-state resolution to the conflict, albeit with a demilitarized Palestinian state.
Bennett and Sa’ar both believe that all of Area C should be part of Israel’s final borders, whereas Netanyahu agreed to Trump’s peace plan that designated portions of Area C for a Palestinian state.
Bennett was the first high-level politician to speak of annexing West Bank settlements, doing so almost a decade ago. Sa’ar followed, with Netanyahu coming to it only two years ago, as one of the last of his party to support it.
Netanyahu has sat in coalitions with Lapid and with the left-wing Labor party. And he spoke in April of creating a coalition that was dependent on Ra’am from the outside, leading people to believe that he might have even formed a coalition with him. He was only blocked from doing so by Zionist Party head Bezalel Smotrich.
Ironically, Bennett and Sa’ar can now sit in a government with Ra’am because Netanyahu made the possibility acceptable.
But that is not the only way Netanyahu helped them weave their path to the current coalition, which will have left-wing, centrist and right-wing parties.
Netanyahu success has been his ability to make compromises, to lean left when needed, in pursuit of a lager goal. He is known for believing that one should be flexible when needed, to be better able to stand one’s ground later in the battle.
With an eye to creating good will with Obama, he agreed to a 10-month moratorium on new housing starts in 2009-2010. Last year Netanyahu broke his promise to the voters to annex West Bank settlements, when he agreed to suspend that application of sovereignty in favor of the Abraham Accords under whose rubric Israel normalized four peace deals with Arab states.
That is just in this current premiership. His first time in office, from 1996 to 1999, he divided Hebron, and shook hands with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
Netanyahu has mastered the art of asking the right-wing public to forgive his compromises in the short run, and to trust that he will achieve their goals in the end. It was his success with this tactic that allowed him to speak of a coalition with Ra’am in the first place.
Bennett and Sa’ar are simply taking a page out of his political playbook with the argument that a compromise does not mean they have abandoned the right.
The argument that only Netanyahu can make such compromises but fellow right-politicians cannot falls flat when viewed against the backdrop of reality.
The issue is not that Bennett and Sa’ar have made compromises or abandoned the right, but rather that they have abandoned Netanyahu. In his playbook, there is only one Right and he leads it, and no one else can follow in his footsteps.

For Evangelicals, is Benjamin Netanyahu the fallen messiah? - analysis

For many Evangelical Christians, the likely downfall of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a shock of biblical proportions.
The majority of the estimated 60 million American Evangelicals who have supported the prime minister, comparing him to Moses and King David, are watching quietly from the sidelines as the man who united them with Israel prepares to be dethroned.
Netanyahu is the Israeli premier that the Christians know and love. He is also the man who, in 2017 at a Christians United for Israel conference, told them they were Israel’s best friends in the world.
“When I say we have no greater friends than Christian supporters of Israel, I know you’ve always stood with us,” Netanyahu said in a video address. “You stand with us because you stand with yourselves because we represent that common heritage of freedom that goes back thousands of years.”
“America has no better friend than Israel and Israel has no better friend than America,” Netanyahu continued. “And Israel has no better friend in America than you.”
Evangelicals overwhelmingly supported the direction that Netanyahu's policies were taking Israel, whether it be his unwavering war on terror, his pro-settlement agenda that kept the biblical heartland in Jewish hands or his hardline stance against Iran.
Although not a religious man himself, Netanyahu was seen by Evangelicals as upholding their American and religious values.
The Evangelicals likened Trump to Cyrus, the historical king of Persia who liberated Jews from captivity in Babylon and allowed them to return to Israel and rebuild the Temple. For many Evangelicals, God raised up Trump much like He did biblical kings and other leaders in ancient times.
They likened Netanyahu to a number of other biblical heroes.
WHEN NETANYAHU WAS late for the 2012 CUFI conference in Jerusalem, Pastor John Hagee - who heads the largest pro-Israel lobby group in the United States - compared him to the messiah as he waited for the prime minister to arrive at a Jerusalem hotel to address the crowd.
"There's a saying in Judaism about the messiah – I know that even if he tarries, he'll come," Hagee told attendees back then. "I know that the prime minister will come, and even if he tarries, he'll come."
Once Netanyahu did arrive, Hagee did not hold back in his introduction of the premier, saying that Netanyahu “changed the path of Christianity in America, when he asked me in 2006 if he thought American Christians could unite for Israel.
"Ancient Israel had Moses, who led them in the desert; during the golden era they had King David, who conquered Jerusalem; and today, when there are existential threats, Israel has a champion who can confront the challenge. Please welcome the prime minister,” Hagee said.
Evangelicals were thrilled with Netanyahu’s leadership. In just the last four years, working with Trump, the US embassy was moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, America recognized the Golan Heights and the Abraham Accords were signed between Israel, the United Arab
Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco.
“Evangelicals believe that Netanyahu deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his participation in the historic and game-changing Abraham Accords, and they are right – he does,” Israeli-American Evangelical author Joel Rosenberg wrote in an unpublished op-ed that he shared with The Jerusalem Post.
the historic and game-changing Abraham Accords, and they are right – he does,” Israeli-American Evangelical author Joel Rosenberg wrote in an op-ed that he shared with The Jerusalem Post.
He explained that Netanyahu, more than any other leader in the history of Israel, “actively courted and cultivated relationships” with the Christians.
“Why?” Rosenberg asked. “Because he believed Evangelicals, who are deeply immersed in the teachings of the Bible – who truly know and love the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and believe in the prophecies about the rebirth of the State of Israel and regathering of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland – are Israel’s most important, faithful, loyal and strategic
allies in the world.”
The Evangelicals responded enthusiastically to Netanyahu’s request for help, acting on behalf of the Jewish State in Washington, on social and mainstream media outlets, through tourism, charity and prayer.
BUT WHILE Evangelicals have a special relationship with the premier, that does not mean they cannot have an equally good relationship with another leader, said Rev. Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders and who helped organize the Trump campaign’s Evangelical advisory board in 2016. He believes Evangelicals will have a strong connection with whatever government exists in Israel.
“The Evangelical relationship with Israel has been fortified by the work of Netanyahu,” Moore told the Post, “but now it transcends the nuts and bolts of politics. I don’t think Evangelical support for Israel is contingent on the nuances of either Israeli or American politics.”
Aside from a harsh and unrestrained open letter published Thursday by Evangelical leader Mike Evans, the founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center in Jerusalem and of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, few Christians have openly meddled in the Israeli election.
While Evans claimed that Yamina head Naftali Bennett has “lost the support of Evangelicals 100 percent”– for his choice to oust the premier and form a government with Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid that includes the Arab Islamic party Ra’am – most Evangelicals said they have not yet taken a position on the potential new government.
Most Christians love and support Netanyahu but are less familiar with Bennett and Lapid. Still, they are likely to honor any new premier, whether or not they agree with his policies. Just as Christians were faced with two ways in which to react to President Joe Biden – either they could see him as doing no right, or they could find the areas on which they can agree – so too will they have to make a choice with the new Israeli premier.
The last six months have shown that faithful Christians uphold the message of their bible, which commands the people to pray for their rulers.
The Bible, too, points the eyes of the Christian people on Israel.
EVANGELICAL SUPPORT for Israel is based on the Bible and God’s commandment to bless Israel and to love the Jewish people.
In Genesis 12:3, God tells the Jewish people that He will “bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt” – a mandate that Christians take seriously.
Moreover, Evangelical leaders told the Post that nearly all Evangelicals hold dear the biblical maxim: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
“Pray for peace in Jerusalem,” it says in Psalm 122:6. “May all who love this city prosper.”
So, every day, Evangelical Christians around the world pray for the peace of Jerusalem – regardless of who sits in the prime minister’s residence on Balfour Street.
In other words, Christians will love Israel, because it is Israel.
But there are actions that Bennett could take to help ensure a steady transition, Rosenberg said.
“The first person who Bennett should reach out to is Pastor John Hagee and he should plan to speak to the Christians United for Israel summit this summer” – just like Netanyahu did every year, he said.
Rosenberg said Bennett should invite several dozen prominent Evangelicals involved in CUFI and other top Christian organizations to come to Israel, have dinner with him, give them private briefings and begin building this relationship.
Finally, he recommended that Bennett appoint an ambassador to the Christian world, a promise that Netanyahu made to the community two years ago at a Christian Media Summit in Jerusalem but never carried out.
“Evangelicals love Netanyahu, but we know of course that he is not the messiah,” Rosenberg said.
In Ecclesiastes, God explains that there is a time and a season for everything. As such, Rosenberg said that Christians are expected to understand if Netanyahu’s season is over and “we will love and support and pray for the next prime minister – whoever that may be.”

WASHINGTON – The American Israel Public Affairs Committee congratulated Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett on Thursday “for assembling a broad and diverse coalition — spanning the political spectrum of Zionist and Arab parties — to form an Israeli government pending Knesset approval. The formation of this government just two weeks after Iranian-backed terrorists fired more than 4,300 rockets at innocent Israeli civilians further demonstrates the resilience of Israel’s democracy and its commitment to democratic values.
“We look forward to further bolstering the bond between the US and Israel as the two democracies work in close partnership to advance our shared interests and values.”
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CNN Español anchor Juan Carlos Lopez in Costa Rica that “the Israelis will make their own decisions about their government, like any democracy, and we will work with any Israeli government to move forward as we have done in the past.
“President Biden has worked with every Israeli government on all sides since prime minister Golda Meir in the early 1970s. So, in democracies, governments change. We will work with any government that emerges, whether it’s Prime Minister Netanyahu or someone else.”
Blinken met with Defense Minister Benny Gantz at the State Department on Thursday, but avoided addressing the political situation in Israel.
“We had an opportunity to spend some time together in Israel just a week or so ago,” Blinken said. “Very happy today to have the opportunity to pursue that conversation, to talk about the United States’ enduring commitment to Israel security, to talk about some of the needs that Israel has in that regard. Also, to talk about the work that needs to be done to move forward on humanitarian assistance to and reconstruction for Gaza and for the Palestinians living there and to look across the board at the many issues that we have on our agenda.”
“It’s a real pleasure to be here and re-convey Israel’s appreciation for the administration, for the president, for yourself, for the ongoing support, which is very important for us in our challenging area,” Gantz told Blinken. “I’m looking forward to discussing, as we have discussed before, the challenges that we have with Iran, with the Palestinians.
