This is your Liberty Minute for Veterans’ Day.

Let’s begin today by recognizing all those we know who have been a part of the great brotherhood and sisterhood we call the U.S. military—our veterans, active-duty service members, guardsmen, and reservists. Their service and sacrifice have kept our country safe and free.

Those who have worn the uniform of the United States have created A legacy of freedom.  A legacy that has spread the globe.

Today, our nation’s veterans need our help.  Last year, an average of  17 veterans committed suicide every day.  Buddy Checks are one way to help.  Call, email, or text your veteran friends and family.  Encourage them to seek help.  Memorize and share the Veteran Crisis line phone number that’s 1-800-273-8255, extension 1.

Veterans have given us freedom, security, and the greatest nation on earth. It is impossible to put a price on that.
