The Department of Defense has issued a new policy in their fight against extremists in the Military. The simple act of clicking "like" on a post is now deemed advocating for extremism and therefore is considered by the DOD to be extremist activity. According to the report, extremist activity can include posting, liking, sharing, re-tweeting, or otherwise distributing content. Thank God there wasn't social media while I was in the Navy. I probably would have been court marshaled as a terrorist.
The Department of Justice is steering$1.6 billion in funding to fight violent crime. So, does that mean we are past the defund the police movement?
