Kylie loved school from the moment she started. Naturally, she became a teacher and at the age of 21, moved from Tassie to Alice Springs to launch her career.
She spent some time as a governess and despite her teaching background, she learned there was a real need for more support for other remote families trying to teach their children from home. 
In 2020 Kylie launched RAISEducation – a not-for-profit organisation with the goal of building a community that supports remote educators to feel connected, empowered and confident about the lessons they deliver.
