Inspired by the book “Consumed” by Aja Barber, this podcast recognizes the importance of authenticity and connection to adornment. Adorning as a sense of self communicates speeches of the mind and indirectly will create changes. The conversation visits the tropes of colonial fashion cycles and the real pandemic of injustices persisting longer than the COVID-19. Helmed with audacity and freshness of duplicity, the podcast explores the voices beyond the action of makeover. I hope that this call to awareness can spark a role to the fashion lovers as being revolutionaries themselves through styling.
