I'm Peter Serefine with today's Liberty Minute.

One of the gun control ideas being contemplated in DC is restricting semiautomatic firearm sales to those 21 and over.

You can vote, own property, sign contracts, be charged and tried as an adult, get married, and be sent away to die in uniform at 18.

You can't drink, vape, or smoke tobacco until 21, and the most popular firearms could be off limits if Congress gets its way.

I think we need to set one age of majority.  You should either be an adult with all of the rights of citizenship or you're not.

Right now, from the age of 18 to 21 in the United States, you are a second-class citizen with most but not all of the rights of citizenship.  If you can own a home, you should be able to protect it.
