We are blessed to be persecuted on Jesus's account, as our reward is great in Heaven.

Salt indicates a covenant relationship with God. It's also a preserving agent; through us, God prevents the world from spoiling!

We are to be light, but if your own house is not lit, it doesn't contribute to the light illuminating the city... our first mission field is our home!

We are one with Jesus, who is the temple of God made flesh... and so through Him we are one with the Father. We are to shine
