House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) responded on Sunday to a report by The Daily Beast that highlighted his apparent lack of a bank account on his financial disclosure. The response, however, did not actually answer whether he had one.

Johnson was asked on Sunday about his lack of a bank account during an interview on Fox News. “I'm a man of modest means,” he replied, deflecting. He said he had previously worked at nonprofits. He noted that he also has either four or five children (which is a whole other story). [WP]

Over the past four years, an Australian coral scientist has been collaborating with technologists at the industrial design software company Autodesk Inc. to develop artificial-intelligence-powered robots that can automate coral restoration. Doing so could speed the rehabilitation of reefs as well as the transplanting of corals to places where they’d have a better chance of surviving in a hotter ocean.
