Round two of groups C, D, and E will feature a heavyweight matchup between two contenders to win the tournament. Mauritania will take on Angola in an elimination matchup for one of the two automatic qualifying positions. South Africa was poor in their first game and are in a similar position needing a victory in round 2 when they take on Namibia.
