[John 1:4-5] The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

[Luke 1:78-79] Because of God's tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, [79] to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace."

[Ephesians 5:8] For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!
