The US Federal Government has sent $100 billion dollars to Ukraine.  Let's put that enormous number into perspective.

$100 billion is over $300 per person in the United States.

$100 billion is $800 per US Taxpayer.

$100 billion is $15 billion more than the entire 2023 budget of the Depart of Homeland Security.

Oh, and by the way, half of the $100 billion can't be accounted for.

Before Russia entered Ukraine, the US had no strategic interest in and no foreign policy framework for Ukraine.

So why now is Ukraine worth more than Homeland Security?
