I discuss the natural state of ego and how it relates to the higher self. I explain that achieving a higher state can be done through various means, such as chemical substances, meditation, enlightenment, or even conditioned thinking. I compare the relationship between the ego and higher self to branches on a tree or streams in a river. I also mention that everything stems from a source of consciousness and that our experiences are manifestations of this consciousness. Lastly, I touch on the idea that our current state of feeling separate is referred to as ego.
