Lord, we come to Your word to receive light. Open Your word to us. May the word of prophecy in the Scripture become a lamp shining in a dark place. We need Your light, Lord! We do not want to remain in darkness like the rest of those around us. Shine on us. Shine in our being. Shine through us.
