China is kicking off its annual political season this week. Monday marked the opening of the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the country's top advisory body. The annual meeting, together with that of the National People's Congress, is known as the Two Sessions, which highlight China's political calendar each year.
