Guided 3-part transformational breathwork to welcome in the New Year and new moon on January 11th. Recommended for those familiar with the 3-part breath.

Format

  • Grounding 2-part breath
  • 18 minutes of guided 3-part breathwork (belly inhale, chest inhale, exhale)
  • New Year poem reading

Refresher: How to do the 3-part breath

  • Avoid heavy foods for an hour before
  •  Lie flat somewhere comfy and cozy
  • First take a big inhale into your stomach, then shift the breath into the chest for another inhale, fully exhale (not forcing, just letting it out evenly)
  • Repeat, cycling from the two inhales into the exhale and back to the two inhales

How you might feel

  • Physically: Tingly, cold or warm, slight cramping in the hands
  • Mentally: A shift away from everyday thoughts
  • Emotionally: Feelings may come up and that's natural!
