So, clearly, I am not around… well I am around, but not in my normal habitat.
So, for this week’s episode, or better yet week and a half’s episode (my life schedule is trying to impede on my podcast schedule), we got a shadow of where I should be and my beautiful voice… with some captions.
Beggers cannot be choosers. Not that anyone has been begging me for anything. Lol.
But I digress… this week’s episode of CarQuicks we take a brief moment to remember the glory days of Auto shows, where they used to be, and where they are now. Can’t they make a return to glory? Do we care, does the public care enough?
With the auto shows currently in an interesting situation, most car reveals are happening in private events. The latest none from Subaru for the new 2024 WRX TR, was met with… silence, laughter, and slight disappointment.
Tesla is still slicing the price of their cars and on the heels of those reductions is the government soon to allow buyers to take the tax incentives for EVs right off the price tag at purchase.
Toyota releases their Ferrari…. Sorry, the Toyota Crown Sport has a STRIKING resemblance to a very high-end SUV.
Porsche aficionados have been blessed with an engine option that takes their beloved old-school 911s into rarified, 12000-RPM territory.
So, sit back, get your reading glasses out for this episode (if watching the video podcast), and enjoy! I am your host Cameron, and this is CarQuicks!
