Introduction
v. 8 – I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all
Paul had seen God at work in their lives
v. 9-15 – God…whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son
Paul desired a service in the gospel of His
Son, influencing Romans, uncivilized barbarians, the wise and the unwise
vs. 16-17 – I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…the power of God to salvation
The righteousness of God is revealed – v. 17
The just shall live – v. 17
ONLY THE JUST SHALL LIVE – ROM. 1:18-3:20
the just shall live by faith – v. 17
THE JUST LIVE ONLY BY FAITH – ROM. 3:21-5:11
