Matthew 7:7-12

Jesus encourages us to approach God and make requests for things we need/desire. He tells us that God is much more generous than our parents. He then connects this with the golden rule. When we do unto others as we would have them do unto us, we become the conduits for God answering the asking, seeking, and knocking of others. We get to play a role in answering the prayers of others.
