Synopsis: Through the prophet Jeremiah, God addressed His people who had forsaken Him for idols. Compared to the northern kingdom God, Judah was worse because they returned to Him in pretence, remaining fickle and faithless. There was (and is!) healing and restoration for God's backsliding children who repent of sin and return to Jesus our LORD in truth.
