Let’s start in Miami Beach, where The REEFLINE project has submerged a surreal “traffic jam” of concrete cars beneath the waves. Artist Leandro Erlich and a coalition of scientists created a seven-mile underwater sculpture park built from marine-safe concrete. Why? To restore the Florida Reef Tract, one of the world’s largest coral systems, which has lost around ninety percent of its corals.
