As darkness covers the land, Jesus breathes His last. In that sacred moment, the curtain of the temple tears in two—signaling that the barrier between God and humanity has been forever removed.

In Luke’s account, the centurion declares Jesus’ innocence, and the crowd leaves in awe and grief. Even in death, Christ’s power speaks. Even in silence, heaven moves.
