Amanda Beard is a 4x Olympian (1996, 2000, 2004, 2008) and 7-time Olympic medalist (2 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze). Just 14 years old at the Atlanta Olympics, she blasted onto the scene winning silver in both Breaststrokes and gold as part of Team USA's 4x100 Medley Relay.
She went on to have a storied career:
Bronze in Sydney in the 200 Breast.
Amanda grew up in Southern California swimming for Dave Salo at Irvine NOVA alongside Jason Lezak. She swam for Frank Busch at the University of Arizona for two years before giving up her eligibility to go pro.
Today she is a small business owner in Gig Harbor, Washington teaching thousands of kids how to swim.
