Today on Live Life in Motion, I talk with Dr. Nina Vasan. Dr. Vasan is a psychiatrist and professor at Stanford, where she is the Founder and Executive Director of Brainstorm: The Stanford Lab for Mental Health Innovation. She is also the Chief Medical Officer at Real, a company that is reshaping the mental healthcare experience, while also improving the quality of care itself.
She has served as a healthcare advisor to the United Nations, the World Health Organization’s Director-General’s Office, and the Obama presidential campaigns. Dr. Vasan earned an AB in Government from Harvard College, graduating as one of Glamour Magazine’s Top 10 College Women, MD from Harvard Medical School, MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and completed Psychiatry Residency at Stanford School of Medicine, where she was Chief Resident.
