When I was a kid, I always wanted named brand sneakers. All the kids in my neighborhood wanted only one sneaker, Converse aka Chuck Taylors. We sported our Chuck Taylors in different colors and different color laces. I loved the white Chuck Taylors with fat red laces. Getting those white Chuck Taylors dirty was a big no no.
