Things got quite bleak this week, and we did not have adequate amounts of alcohol to help drown our sorrows.... Matthew and William are wounded on the front, and yet no one can do anything to treat their injuries except provide horrible euphemisms. Luckily they made some time for mischief music, but Vera Bates returns to cause trouble for no discernible reason. Don't worry, Sybil and Branson are still a thing and make their first physical contact (SCANDALOUS). Here's hoping next week's dramatic turn is a little less deadly.
