This is the first three chapters of a book I am working on which includes the memoir of my wife’s experiences growing up in a Hutterite colony. Before I spend a lot more time on the project I am interested in whether people find the device of nesting the historical memories with in a fictional plot is compelling. Mike and Chloe are fictional.
