I know this concept sounds ridiculous in the realm of widowhood, but when we change our perspective from grieving, loss or even feeling like a victim to one of thankfulness for the things we have in our lives, we can feel the hope that God wants us to have. I would even go so far as to say that as someone who has experienced deep loss, we, above all people, should be so thankful for what still remains in our lives, knowing how precious life is. When we stand on the two pillars of Thankfulness and Trust in God, we can soar through life with peace and hope!
