21: Combat Overwhelm with Awareness

Oh, overwhelm we see you, we hear you, we may or may not understand you but we acknowledge you. Something most of us identify as or with. Here I am bringing awareness to overwhelm by noticing how we are coping, with this noticing exploring our I am's. Is I am overwhelmed, I am anxious? Are we taking overwhelm on as a part of who we are? 

From taking overwhelm on as who we are we can learn to bring our awareness into the moments when overwhelm is in the drivers seat of our lives. There are different self-care practices or even "tools" we can use to help combat daily overwhelm. And everyday can bring a different awareness. In these moments we can allow with an openness or eve move through with action.

 The inner -critique says "I cant" flip that old narrative into an action of how I CAN do this thing. We also have to remember to start where we are, there is no more waiting for when. Now is when, we start today and begin with a tangible step towards what we want opposed to listening to the nagging inner-critique. Inside of this episode are so many ways I move through overwhelm without allowing it to consume me. But yes this is life and it is a practice not a perfect and we show up here where we are on our authentic path.
