Ben Davidson was FEEEEEEARRRRED by players, which is uniquely oxymoronic when pitted up to his real life persona. The man who CLUBBED NAMATH and Broke his Jaw (pictured... although actually Ike Lassiter, his fellow D-line crony was the ACTUAL player who broke Joe Willie's jaw... bet you didn't know that!!) was a genuine 'pussycat' of a man off the field, much like fellow D-Lineman of the time Merlin Olsen. 

Davidson was also one of the first Raiders to hit it big in Hollywood when he finished his career.... don't you remember seeing him in the original  Conan  the Barbarian opposite a young Schwarzenegger?
