In this episode, Irene interviews Andrea Corbett, 2018 UKBFF British Champion and IFBB Elite Pro.

Andrea Corbett had been working in the educational field as a secondary school teacher for over 15 years when she found herself at a breaking point. In 2015 she was diagnosed with a mental health illness, at the time when she was more focused on what was important to everyone else before herself. Andrea began a journey that would see her competing in her first competition at the UKBFF Nationals (bodybuilding), which she subsequently won and was titled 2015 UKBFF Women's Physique champion and this is where her bodybuilding story began.

In 2016, Andrea decided to make a change in her life, she radically adjusted her lifestyle by addressing her mental health struggles. Not content with overcoming her own challenges she wanted to share these empowering tools and mindsets with as many people as possible. Andrea became the founder of FOCUS CIC and the Youth Fitness Mentoring Prog, both addressing the issues with physical and mental health. A few years later she went on to become a life coach, creating tailored 1:1 sessions and guided solution-focused workshops designed to work with anyone being held back by their lack of purpose in life and self-limiting beliefs.
