21. Five Tips for Someone Who is Grieiving

Today I’m giving five of my best tips for someone who is grieving.

I thought I knew what grief was like before I lost my mom, and yet I had absolutely no clue until it knocked my whole world upside down. In this episode, I share five of the most important and helpful things I have learned about grief in the last five months since my mom passed away.

I cover everything from breathing (yes, breathing) and time management, to comparing your grief with others and how I feel about the expected timeline of grief (spoiler alert, I hate it and you’ll hear all the reasons why). 

Whether or not you have lost a loved one, and whether or not you’ve experienced deep grief, this episode is for you. The unfortunate reality is we all either have experienced profound loss or one day we will experience profound loss. If you haven’t yet, my hope is, when you one day (far in the future) lose someone and begin your grief journey, that you will be able to remember the words of this episode and that they will help you through.
