Pray. Be silent for 3-5 minutes. Write down any images or words that come to your mind. Remember, we are practicing hearing the Lord. Even if you aren’t sure, write it down. 

Here are some things to listen for. 

  • Location (stop sign, bench digital clock, coffee shop, Target, Walmart, etc.)
  • Names
  • Appearance
  • What they might need prayer for (brace, cane, kidneys, scooter, tumor, left ankle, marriage, etc.)
  • The unusual (lollipop, windmill, lime-green door, lions, etc.)
