This week Lanie Beth leads us through the Mosaic Covenant. Unlike other covenants, the Mosaic Covenant references the first five books of the Old Testament. These books of law show God's people the faithfulness of Yahweh. God is teaching the Nation of Israel how to set up an entirely new community of over 1 million people in a land He promised them through the Abrahamic Covenant.

We will look at how the 10 Commandments relate to the Beatitudes and Jesus' teachings in Matthew 5. Walking through both passages, we see how God wants our confessional theology to match our functional everyday theology, and the Mosaic Covenant teaches us how. Moses connects us to Jesus in a beautiful way.
