Our book review of the week is Mythos by Stephen Fry, a wonderful take on how to tell a rather old and usually dull tale in an entertaining and engaging manner. It's perfect for people across all demographics, as the Gods battle problems they love creating themselves.

favorite parts of the book


formation of centaurs (hera  and zeus and the human who just wouldn't repent)

the invention of wine (Dionysus and wine being invented/ appearing from his dead lover)

names we took from the greeks

the invention of ancient medicine/ apollos rage

sexual promiscuity of the gods

Zeus is the bumbling hero who seems to explain a lot about our current human condition/predicament

the power of curses ( Cadmus and the water dragon)

the origin of mankind and the different colours we were designed in

Prometheus and his love for humans

Stephen fry- telling you a funny yet comforting story, like with the flaying of Marsyas and its alternate ending
