George tells stories about Oscar Flint Goggans, who was a spy during World War II and afterwards during the Cold War.  He includes stories about parachuting behind enemy lines in France, being adrift on an aviation fuel tanker ship in the English Channel, and barely making it to an evacuation plane while being chased by the enemy.
