In May 1957, the small town of Hexham in England became a pivotal point in one family's life. On this ordinary morning, 11-year-old Joanna Pollock and her younger sister, six-year-old Jacqueline, were on their way to church with their friend Anthony when they were struck by an erratic driver. A year later, they were seemingly reborn as Jennifer and Gillian. The two girls were twins, something that neither was predicted by the doctor, nor ran in either side of the family. Immediately, the family noticed physical similarities between the two sets of children, but it wasn't until they were somewhat older that things began to get a bit unsettling...
