Sat down with Southwest Detroit artist SW Freddy at the Tead One Memorial Fund exhibition at M Contemporary gallery. Freddy shared the origins of his name, updates on the neighborhood and his plans for the new toy, a ‘84 Cutty. He also shares insights on his sources of inspiration from artists from CDMX, Miami and the inaugural festival of BLKOUT walls in Detroit. Enjoy the artist conversation and thank you to M Contemporary for the host.
