I sit down with my cousin (through marriage) and one of the nicest most humble dudes on the planet Mike Lacey. Scrolling through Facebook I stumbled on a post he made that had me think so I had to have him on the show to talk about it.

21. Your own country?

I used to believe in my head that it was never possible to run due to injuries. I never tried. I accepted that i would walk with a small limp the rest of my life. I told myself i was happy and I didn't need anything more. Fortunately I was involved in the Heavy Checklist Podcast. It opened my eyes. I realized my potential to not only "run" but improving my life overall with small changes and effort. Changing my pace from a walk, to jogging, to running. Changing from sleeping in everyday to waking up earlier with great habits.  Im now on a pursuit to learn from those who can teach us all things they've mastered. Im no expert but everyday I'm trying to be better.
