Carolyn tells the stories of her 3 births, her first was a stillbirth which was followed by 2 home births. She has a beautiful story to tell and if you are in the right place to listen wonderful! and if not now I hope you come back to it at a later time. Just a note, Carolyn is from South Africa, they have  a public and private healthcare system, with over 70% of the population attending public hospitals which are underfunded and understaffed. The South African CS rates are around 26.2% in the public sector, 76.8% in the private sector. So Carolyn’s home births were definitely out of the norm.
