We try to keep our feelings and emotions at an arm's length. But no matter how are you try, the pain, the shame, and the burdens still weigh heavy.

I don't know about you, but I want you to think beyond what you can do yourself within your circumstances.

You are not designed to live your every day by yourself. God wants to remove the pain and the worry from your heart.

However, you must be willing to do one thing.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Lay down your heart!

But oh no!! We are too protective of what might happen that we miss what God can do for us.

You don't have to prove anything to God. He will meet you right where you're at. Yet, you must be a willing participant.

You can continue to beat down the world and all it brings into your life by yourself, but eventually, you will exhaust your heart.

The strength and endurance cannot come from you alone. God provides!

Whatever you are facing today, let God begin to rescue your heart. Holding on to the shame will not bring about your fame. Let go of what drains your joy. Focus on God; His grace and mercy.

Let Him meet you in the dark alley and pick up all your broken pieces. He is ready. Are you?

Are you willing to lay down your heart? Are you willing to give Him what you can't control?

This is your season to lay down your heart!
