The TARDIS crew find themselves in the London Underground where the run into Professor Travers, whom they first met in the Himalayas some thirty years earlier, working with a military operation, lead by COLONEL Lethbridge-Stewart, that is investigating the tunnels of the railway system that are being overrun by a mysterious weblike structure, produced by the Great Intelligence’s robot Yeti.
