We have been taught for ages about why the dead see is dead--that it receives and doesn't give. There is a principle to learn from that especially if we are going through a season of apathy. This is true whether you are dealing with your purpose or a relationship.

Apathy has a way of folding your hands, of course metaphorically, that you do not want to give. The opposite actually happens when you start giving despite of what you are feeling about it. It starts to fizzle out and disapper.
