Entrepreneurs often worry about how long their book should be. A book can be 50 pages like it can be 500, and it makes no difference. I have read 100-page books that were more meaningful than 450-page volumes. Size makes no difference in how compelling the book will be. Sure, the longer, the more substance—which means the more information. But information isn’t the end-all, be-all of writing nonfiction. Transformation is. If you can transform your reader in 20 pages, then your book should be 20 pages. If it takes 500 pages, then it should be 500 pages. Size doesn’t matter; value does.
