21/365: I'm response-Able because I've been irresponsible. How can being a poser evaporate your wealth?

Listen Later

Hey everyone! In this episode, I dive into the idea that keeping up a perfect yard—or life—might not be as fun or easy as it seems. We all face pain and heartbreak, but we often show only the good parts to the world, hiding our struggles.

I talk about how people think they know a lot more about others when they’re far away, like when we compare our jobs or lives to those of successful people. This creates a false sense of expertise and makes us feel like we have to put on a perfect front, especially in business.

Just like an iceberg, where only the tip shows above water, our lives have hidden challenges. It’s important to accept both the good and bad parts of life. Building real connections means being open about our flaws. Social media can trick us into thinking everyone else is perfect, but even the most successful people deal with doubts and mistakes.

I also share some of my financial mistakes, including my past struggles with alcohol, which taught me important lessons. Being transparent about these issues helps me connect better with clients, making wealth management more effective.

Success can come with hidden costs. I share stories of famous people like Warren Buffett and Elon Musk, showing that success sometimes means sacrificing personal relationships. It’s crucial to recognize that everyone has their own challenges, even if they don't show it.

In the end, I encourage you to think about the "masks" you wear and what secrets you might be hiding. These can hold you back in many areas of life—health, family, and money.
