One thing that I never understood was how people can let a Monday dictate how they are going to feel. Really?!?

How unfair to all the opportunities and possibilities available to you!

Why sell yourself short just because of the weekday's title.

Life isn't fair. That's nothing new. Neither is how the days of the week were named. So why give your power away to something you do not have control over?

Rise up! Stand up! Be who God is calling you to be regardless of whether you feel like you're hanging out in the trash or soaring with the eagles.

Circumstances do not have to represent your heart. This is not an easy stance to take. But you are worth it.

You can be full of joy even when it seems that life is falling down around you. You can be that joy-filled person who takes lemons and makes lemonade.

Yesterday, I had a run-in with the power of water. Water in a pool, in the sink or tub, or in the washing machine is fine. But inside the wall? NO WAY!!

Well, after four hours of trying to repair it, the parts were not working. My plumber told me he would cap the pipe and then come back tomorrow. I think he was surprised by my patience and good attitude. But what can you do but SMILE!

I could have been upset and outrage that he wasted all my time and still my plumbing is not fixed. Plus, I now have a huge hole in my wall.

Lemonade from lemons.

He left with a smile and now could go help someone else.
