I get asked so often about my opinion on popular programs, and so many of the nurses that I work with come to me wanting to try the latest trend. The top four hits are: Whole 30, 75 Hard, Intermittent Fasting, and Macro-Counting. Today, we are breaking down Intermittent Fasting and Macro-counting and examining why these trends aren't working for you. (HINT - you're an insanely busy nurse who has no energy for strict, cookie-cutter programs)

Too often, we try these diets and when we can't stick to them, we internalize that "failure" and think that our willpower or our bodies are the problem. I think this is BS, and we need to shift our perspective. Let's do that together!
