I grew up within the Independent Fundamental Baptist movement - a movement founded upon defending the core doctrines of the Christian faith but now has become known more for legalism, isolationism, and oftentimes anti-intellectualism. Yet, we are seeing more and more people seeing the light of grace and walking away from this background. In the midst of this is the Recovering Fundamentalist Podcast that has been a blessing to many people who still cling to the faith but don't want the legalism of their past and see themselves thirsty for true Bible doctine.
