After escaping Zeon space prison, Io Fleming rejoins the Federation battle mopping up remnants of Zeon fighters on Earth. Eight months after the end of the One Year War, Io now has a new Gundam, and fights a new enemy - psychic monks. Daryl also fights the same psychic monks. They never actually meet in season 2.
