218. How To Lose Weight When Your Busy As F&*@!

If you can relate to putting your health on the back burner because you are busy, busy, busy, and you find yourself taking care of everyone else OVER your health and body, this is the PERFECT episode for you!

It’s time for you to be willing to look at your busy thought patterns and habits and how they are impacting your health. For some of you, there is no impact, whereas others of you, are being deeply impacted by 'BUSY'.
One of the things I realized in myself was that I have a slew of thoughts around ease that I'm focused on transforming as we speak.

Things like –
"Let’s just do something easy."
"Let’s make food that’s easy."
"I'm so busy, so let me grab dinner, cause it will be easier." 
This notion of “EASY” is a thought that I programmed into my mind when I'm busy that I'm changing because it doesn't serve me, just like you might have busy thoughts that lead to actions that don't serve you either.

I associate EASY with fast, lazy, and unhealthy, which is simply NOT true. Someone else could associate fast with a salad and I recognize that: 
  • It can be just as EASY to make a salad as it is to go grab food from Chipotle. 
  • It can be just as EASY to talk about going for a walk, vs. actually going for the walk. 
  • It can be EASY to eat healthy vs. not.
     
Easy is not the issue. It’s my thought about what HARD means. What does the oppositive of what you want mean? In my case, what am I making hard? Hard to make healthy meals? 
****What you’re labeling as busy right now is really an opportunity to understand the skill that you’re missing to lose weight in the space of busy!***

Do you see that? If you are busy, look at your relationship with busy and what beliefs are not supportive.  Your body will thank you by rewarding you with weight loss when you unravel busy and create new beliefs, feelings, and actions.
You can be busy AND lose weight. There are millions of people losing weight who are also busy. You can change your weight. You can become someone who feels healthy and beautiful AND finds small chunks of time to focus on yourself in the midst of being busy. You can become someone who can take it or leave it. I believe that it’s possible for you, but the more important thing for you to understand is, do you believe it’s possible for you?
You just have to also believe in yourself. The only way to fully believe is to understand and be conscious and aware of all the areas where you are breaking down when you are busy.
