The words no mother ever expects to hear as she goes in for a routine 20-week anatomy scan. You don’t think they are going to tell you your baby’s brain might not function properly, or that he might not walk, or that he might not have full function of all of his organs. But there are two sides to this story. The one that speaks of the diagnosis, and the one that speaks of Gods faithfulness. But God didn’t make a mistake here. Maybe the doctors saw what they saw, because they needed to see it in order for there to be a miracle to witness. But the story didn’t end, and hope wasn’t lost when the doctor said he wasn’t normal. A fire, unlike anything Lexie ever experienced, was lit inside her and her husband, Craig. One that believes Victory is already won, that the weapon formed against them would not prosper.
